Hello guys, for a while i've not been talking animation because of the #bringbackourgirls incident. And i hope the government does bring them back as today marks a month and one day since the unfortunate incident.
My next anime short stars the same guy that features in the last one singing a gospel praise song. You'll find that here by clicking this link http://youtu.be/E3ZZ9eBJpgo
The next is filled with a lot more activity and rush. A lot more cartoony and intense. Richard Williams said that rather than creating animations using the pose to pose or straight ahead, it's better to use both. For me, i love the pose to pose alot because you can easily predict the next move and it has this human feeling attached to it that you can relate to. But the truth is, if you want something really interesting, you have to go straight ahead which is a big plus for 3D animation because you dont have to worry about proportions in terms of size or perspective. However too much of straight ahead is bad as well in that it doesn't or cant really convey some certain emotions believably enough to the audience and probably some many other stuffs. But, you get a lot of vitality and your character sorts of springs to life from a zero mood. I guess that's why Richard Williams says a mix of both should be used. Well, in this new short, i'm doing just that but a lot more hinged on straight aheads. Yeah, i found it to be faster, spontaneous, unpredictable, stupid and funny. by just using it in a little extreme way you unconsciously add squash and stretch to the gig. I'll post pictures later and probably update this post, so stay with me.
And while you at it, you could check out these animations as well http://youtu.be/opFjvErscKw
